Privacy Policy

Plain version: we collect what you type into our quote form, we use it to get back to you about flooring, and we do not sell it or hand it to anyone else. That is the whole policy. The rest of this page is just the detail.

What we collect

When you fill in a quote form we collect your name, phone number, town, the kind of project you described, how you would like us to contact you, and your email address and notes if you give them. If you call or text us, we have your phone number and whatever you tell us.

Our website also records basic technical information with each form submission — which page you submitted from and where you arrived from — so we know which parts of the site are actually working. None of that identifies you personally.

What we do with it

We use it to contact you about your flooring, to prepare a quote, and to do the work if you hire us. If you become a customer, your contact details and job records stay in our business system so we can honour your warranty and help you later.

What we never do

• We do not sell your information. Not to anyone, for any amount.
• We do not trade or rent your details to other companies.
• We do not add you to a marketing list because you asked for a quote.
• We do not send you texts or emails you did not ask for.

Who can see it

Avery and James, and the services that run our website and business software — our hosting provider, our database provider, and the service that emails us when a quote request comes in. Those companies process the data on our behalf and are not allowed to use it for anything else. We will also release information if a court or the law requires it.

How it is protected

The website runs over an encrypted connection. Quote requests are stored in a database that is not readable from the public website — only our own systems can read them. No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise, but we do not store anything we do not need.

How long we keep it

Quote requests that never turn into work are kept for about two years in case you come back to us, then deleted. Customer records are kept longer because the workmanship warranty and our tax obligations require it.

Your choices

Ask us to delete your information and we will, unless we are required to keep it for a job we did for you. Ask us what we hold about you and we will tell you. Ask us to stop contacting you and we will stop. Email pilotflooring26@gmail.com or call (435) 357-7566.

Children

This site is for people hiring a flooring company. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. If it changes in a way that matters, we will say so clearly rather than quietly editing it.
